Project Goal

To design and implement a new feature within the administrator tool that allows authorized users to seamlessly port existing cell phone numbers to the platform and activate new numbers for their organization or clients. This aims to centralize number management, reduce reliance on manual processes or external support, and improve overall efficiency.

Problem

The process for bringing existing phone numbers onto the platform (porting) and assigning new numbers involves a fragmented workflow. Administrators may need to interact with multiple systems, submit manual requests, or rely on technical support for these crucial tasks.

Responsibilities

As the lead designer for this project, I was responsible for conducting user research to understand administrator needs for number management, designing the user interface and workflows for porting and activation, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, conducting usability testing with administrators, collaborating with developers on the technical feasibility and implementation of the design.
