I wanted to design a conceptual Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency mining dashboard. I started out my journey in the Web3 / Crypto space in late 2011 by building mining rigs and trading Bitcoin and eventually Litecoin and Dogecoin. I also fell in love with designing for web3 so I decided to come up with this GPU Mining Monitor UI.
Research and education into understanding how GPU mining works, how GPU's work and how blockchain web3 mining works to be able to design for it.
Empower the more advanced and new web3 community to have visibility and insights into their GPU crypto mining rigs and the ability to control them.
Educated myself and learned more technical information about designing for blockchain technology fintech applications; ie: fees, gas, smart contracts.
Since this was not a “real” project, other than doing some research on web3/defi and crypto, I decided to dive right into visual designs to see what I can come up with!
Learned more about the Cryptocurrency space, Bitcoin mining rigs, GPU performance and controls, etc..
Created a lot of design iterations to see what would work best on mobile while keeping it scalable and beautiful at the same time.
