Project Overview

MotorMia revolutionizes how people plan and execute their car modifications using cutting-edge AI technology. This application is for seasoned car enthusiasts or beginners just starting out on their car modding journey. MotorMia helps users discover the perfect car modifications using AI agents for your vehicle. MotorMia also enabled members to compete their AI car builds against each other and earn rewards and promotions!

Problem Framing

The existing MotorMia application had a non-intuitive, outdated and very reactive UI that was not designed for AI interactions or engagement. The goal was to re-design the application to make it easier to use, understand, see the value of the platform and engage with MotoAI Agents. No way to search parts, customize car modifications, no community and no incentives to use the application.

Challenges and Solutions

No Existing Application / New Idea

MotorAI is a new type of platform that did not exist prior to launch. This required extensive research on car modifications, car communities, AI Agents, car parts and pricing, type of users and their goals.

Created a New Community

By allowing members to build custom cars, invite members to build together and race them against each other; we had users very engaged in competing for rewards, badges and discount promo coupons.

Lack of Users + Engagement

By introducing the ability to collaborate on car mods and compete against other users in car races to earn rewards, promo coupons and badges, users had incentive to download, use and engage with the mobile application.

Process

My process included market research, user testing and interviews, wireframe and prototypes, reviews and testing the mobile application on internal and external users.

Research and Ideation

This initial phase involved extensive research into AI agents, car modifications and car mod communities.

Wireframes and Prototypes

Created mockups, wireframes and clickable prototypes to help test the user flows, user interactions and user experience accessibility.

Prototype Development & Testing

Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to test core functionalities, including basic staking, model submission, inference capabilities, and data access.

Final Designs and Deliverables

Focused on the detailed design of the blockchain architecture, selection of the appropriate consensus mechanism, smart contract design, and the definition of integration points for various AI models and data sources.
