Project Background

QVC, a leading video commerce retailer, sought to enhance its digital sales experience for a major fashion event. The goal was to create a more engaging and interactive experience that would capture the excitement of live events, drive sales, and cater to the evolving needs of online shoppers. This case study details the design of a new interactive sales experience, focusing on how it transformed the traditional QVC model.

Project Goals

To design a novel interactive sales experience for a fashion event that would:

Responsibilities

I was responsible for the end-to-end design of the interactive sales experience.

User Research: Conducting user research to understand the needs, preferences, and online shopping behaviors of QVC customers, including both loyal viewers and new demographics.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with QVC's merchandising, marketing, production, and technology teams to align the digital experience with the overall event strategy.

Concept Development: Conceptualizing and defining the interactive features and functionalities that would enhance the shopping experience.

User Flow Design: Creating user flows to map out the customer journey, from event discovery to product purchase.ts.

Wireframing and Prototyping: Developing wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize the user interface and test design concepts.

UI Design: Creating a visually appealing and engaging user interface that aligns with QVC's brand and the fashion event's aesthetic.
