Design a new website from scratch for the office launch of the Tune.FM Blockchain Web3 Cryptocurrency & NFT Streaming platform. This platform enabled users in the web3 community to create music including NFT’s, release and auction music, collect royalties, etc. And listeners earn rewards in JAM token for listening to music as well! I was responsible for the full website design and implementation using Webflow.
Although I am a huge music fan, I was not too educated on the actual terminology and financial aspects of the music industry and how it can be intertwined with the blockchain space. This required a lot of research and documentation to understand functionality and what/who I am designing for.
Because Tune.FM was a brand new company, we did not have any resources for user research, testing or interviews. Therefore I decided to engage with the web3 / crypto / music community on Twitter/X and interview users there.
I never used Webflow before this project, so I had to learn and understand how Webflow works + new front end technologies.
As the head of product design, I was responsible for all end-to-end web and product design. This included wireframes, prototypes, visual designs and Webflow implementation.
